215033 - PHSA 16747 NOI EMS Kit Bags and Pouches

Notice is hereby given that BC Emergency Health Services (“BCEHS”), supported by Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide Custom Made EMS Kit Bags and Pouches for BC Emergency Health Services for a term of one year at an estimated value of $842,557.00.

BCEHS has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason:
• the goods or services can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reason:
To ensure compatibility with existing goods, or to maintain specialized goods that must be maintained by the manufacturer of those goods or its representative.

Rationale BCEHS requires replacement and additional kit bags for new hires from the current supplier. This equipment is essential to support ongoing operations and to ensure crews have the necessary equipment to perform their duties effectively. To ensure the continued supply of these essential products to BCEHS with stable pricing, we will direct award a non-volume committed contract until BCEHS completes an upcoming competitive process for future contracts.

Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of Rahulnath Cheriyath, Buyer, by email before 2:00 pm Pacific Time, June 02, 2025.
