Description

VFPA is seeking expressions of interest from qualified suppliers or teams of suppliers to develop, install, and operate a Non-visual Killer Whale Detection System Project (“Project”) to monitor Southern Resident Killer Whales (“SRKW”) during the construction of Roberts Bank Terminal 2 (“RBT2”). The successful supplier would also support VFPA in securing required permits and approvals prior to commissioning the system (anticipated early Q2 of 2028).

The RFEOI responses (“Submissions”) will be used to help VFPA identify entities with the interest, resources, experience and capabilities that would be able to provide the services for the proposed Project. For the purposes of this RFEOI, interested entities who submit a Submission shall be referred to as (“Respondents”).
