216275 - RFP - Establishment of an Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) regulates the practice of medicine under the authority of provincial law, the Health Professions Act and the Bylaws made under the Act. All physicians and surgeons who practise medicine in the province must be registrants of CPSBC. Guided by its mission, mandate and values, CPSBC’s overriding interest is the protection and safety of patients. The role of CPSBC is to ensure registrants meet expected standards of practice and conduct.

CPSBC is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or organizations to design, develop, and implement an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) program within the complaints department. This initiative aims to improve the efficiency and responsiveness of the complaints process, promote early resolution of disputes, and enhance public and professional confidence in CPSBC’s regulatory framework.
