Description

The Town of Comox Parks Department is seeking quotations from qualified vendors for the supply and delivery of a Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV) Electric Truck suitable for municipal parks operations. The vehicle will be used for year-round maintenance and must be capable of handling light-duty tasks, including trail and parks maintenance, as well as winter sidewalk clearing.

Vehicle Requirements

Quotations must include a vehicle that meets or exceeds the following minimum specifications:

Dump Box:
- Hydraulic lift system
- Minimum 1,500 lbs. capacity
- Stake pockets with tie-down frame
Cab Structure:
- Fully enclosed aluminum cab
- Weather-resistant design suitable for year-round outdoor use
- Headache rack
Battery System:
- Long-range lithium-ion battery
- Must support daily operational range suitable for parks maintenance
Steering and Operation:
- Power steering
- Ergonomic operator controls
Plow Attachment:
- Front-mounted, hydraulic V-plow suitable for winter sidewalk clearing
- Removable or retractable as needed
Lighting and Safety:
- Amber strobe light for visibility during operations

Delivery and Documentation

Delivery must be F.O.B. Town of Comox Public Works Yard.
Estimated delivery date must be included.
