Description

PavCo is considering a direct award to Siemens for the continued provision of Building Automation, Fire Safety, and Security Systems support at the Vancouver Convention Centre. This consideration is based on the highly integrated nature of the existing infrastructure, which utilizes Siemens’ proprietary protocols and devices. The current systems—comprising thousands of components across over one million square feet of facility space, including the Guest Security Operations Centre (GSOC)—are deeply embedded in the day-to-day operation of mission-critical functions.

The term of the contract is expected to be 5 years

The aggregate value of the contract is expected not to exceed, exclusive of applicable taxes $995,000
