Description

The Village of Burns Lake invites tenders to complete the following work (approximate quantities):

Construct a 11m x 10 m cast-in-place foundation and pre-cast concrete wastewater treatment building
Supply and install wastewater treatment system consisting of aluminum sulfate addition and UV treatment
Supply and install eight precast concrete manholes and controls structures
Supply and install 290 m of HDPE and PVC pipe 100mm to 300 mm diameter

Electronic Contract Documents are available at no charge through BC Bid. Paper copies of the Contract Documents can be obtained from the address above for a non-refundable fee of $150.00 plus shipping.

Sealed tenders, accompanied by the specified Bid Bond, will be received as follows:

Electronic submissions will also be accepted through the BC Bid website. Tenderers are encouraged to register and familiarize themselves with with BC Bid’s electronic submission well in advance of tender closing. Tenders will be opened in public in the Village Council Chambers at City Hall at the closing time and date.

Any changes to the Tender documentation will be issued by means of written addenda and posted on the BC Bid website. It is the sole responsibility of the tenderer to regularly check for addendums or questions. Upon submitting a tender, tenderers will be deemed to have received notice of all addenda that are issued.

Tenderers may attend an optional information meeting scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at the lagoons on Glans Drive. All contract technical inquiries are to be directed in writing to the owner’s representative prior to 72 business hours before tender closing time:

Tenderers may attend an optional information meeting scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday July 22, 2025 at the lagoons on Glans Drive. TRUE Consulting and the Village of Burns Lake representatives will be available to answer questions regarding the tender. Any new information that is requested or generated will be included in an Addendum that will be issued at least five days prior to the tender close.
