1) Standard general conditions, supplementary conditions, and instructions to bidders apply.
2) Provide complete work and modifications, outlined herein, in the contract documents and on any drawings, all in accordance with local codes, bylaws, regulations, the owners specifications, Alberta Infrastructure specifications and Best Industry Practice.
3) Coordinate with the project team, Owner's representatives, Users, Property Management, and the Project Manager or assign over the course of the project. Organize and schedule work to minimize interruption.
4) The work must be performed by competent persons able to work with minimal supervisor and experience in this type of work.
5) Workers are to follow all Owner's, property management guidelines, instructions and are expected to work in a respectful manner.
6) Comply with owners Contractor Safety Orientation; follow all OH&S regulations, acts and guidelines.
7) Ensure there are no safety hazards to the public.
8) Determine the locations of existing services and connections in the facility and on site that may be affected by the work; provide all required locate services.
9) Share all safety documentation with BRSD, meetings/toolbox minutes, near misses, etc..., upon request of the Project Manager.
10) Extend safety meeting schedule to the owners representative as an optional attendee.
11) Provide a work schedule, in a format acceptable to the project manager, prior to the start of the work and communicate to the project manager any schedule changes and adjustments throughout the duration of the project as required.
12) Be responsible for all quantitates, dimensions, and verification of existing site conditions.
13) Be responsible for all parking requirements.
14) Provide all permits, inspections and fees required to comply with local authorities. Submit copy of final inspections for record.
15) Provide security services outlined in the contract documents or required by the schedule of the work.
16) Undertake to minimize disruption to occupants and adjacent spaces during the workday and to not interfere with ongoing activities. Work shall be scheduled after school hours, on weekends or student holidays, notwithstanding, work can occur after 6pm in areas of limited use, if coordinated with the owner.
17) Contractors shall note that certain areas, such as gyms, are in use for extended hours, and shall schedule to accommodate these times. 18) Student and staff hours are defined as 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. * Some groups occupy the facility for athletic events in the evenings and weekends. * Evening work to be coordinated with the owner. **See specifications and drawings provided**
