INVITATION TO TENDER
.1 Sealed tenders will be received by Regional Health Authority "A", at the office of
Englobe Corporation, located at 1077 St. George Blvd, Suite 400, Moncton, NB, E1C
0K2 until 2:00 PM, local time, on Thursday August 28th, 2025 for the following
project:

.2 Each contractor is responsible for obtaining the electronic tender documents from
the NBON web site and is responsible their printing. Contractor is responsible for
any associated printing costs.
.3 Bidding contractors must register with the office of the Consultant, Englobe
Corporation tel 506-857-2777, ext.178054)(email: "Michael.McCabe@englobecorp.com")
in order to receive addenda. See Section 00 21 14 Project Specific Instructions to
Bidders & Section 00 21 15 Standard Instructions to Bidders for further information.
.4 The Owner will enter into a formal contract with the successful bidder who is
ultimately awarded the contract. The form of the contract document will be based on
the Province of New Brunswick STANDARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT (long form).
.5 A site review will be held on Wednesday August 13th at 1h30 PM local time. This will
be the only opportunity for review of existing site conditions with the Regional
Health Authority "A" representatives and all the consultants present and available
to answer questions arising from the review of the site and the Contract Documents.
Meet outside at the Shipping & Receiving area at the back of the Hospital.
.6 Site access for the purpose of reviewing existing conditions is restricted. Access
to site must be coordinated with contact person listed on title page.
.7 Sub-trade tenders for the following trades will close through the Bid Depository at
the Construction Association of New Brunswick (CANB) on Tuesday August 26th , 2025
at 2h PM local time:
Plumbing:
.1 Division 22 - Plumbing
HVAC:
.2 Divisions 23 and 25 - HVAC and Integrated Automation.
Electrical:
.3 Divisions 26, 27 and 28 - Electrical, Communications and Electronic Safety and
Security.
Procedures for Bid Depository tendering via email are available at the CANB website "www.constructnb.ca".
.8 General Contractor's Tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount equal
to 10% of the tendered quotation (excluding HST).
.9 Sub-trade tenders bidding through the Bid Depository must be accompanied by a Bid
Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the tendered quotation.
.10 The lowest/highest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
