Opportunity to be considered for designation as an accreditation body for the purposes of administering programs for the accreditation of operating authorities for accreditation to Ontario’s Drinking Water Quality Management Standard.
Scope of Work
This Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") is an invitation to prospective respondents to provide submissions for the opportunity to be designated as an accreditation body for the purposes of administering programs for the accreditation of operating authorities of drinking water system.

Ontario’s legislative framework requires all municipal residential drinking water systems to be operated by an accredited operating authority. Respondents selected for designation will administer a program to provide accreditation and audit services to these operating authorities that is based on Ontario’s Drinking Water Quality Management Standard (DWQMS).

The Ministry anticipates designating up to five (5) accreditation bodies.
