Notice is hereby given that Selkirk College is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to HAAS (via their distributor, Thomas Skinner) (the “Supplier”). The aggregate value of the contract is expected not to exceed, exclusive of applicable taxes $275,000

The College is contemplating a direct award with the Supplier for the following reasons: Selkirk College has deeply integrated the HAAS Machining platform into our curriculum and research development workflow. This includes the creation of standard operating procedures, extensive curriculum development and a working knowledge of the maintenance and upgradability of the HAAS CNC ecosystem. In addition, we have developed complete industry training courses for the HAAS machining platforms. Selkirk College also has an extensive tooling library for existing machines that will integrate directly into the requested UMC 750SS.
