Description

Ontario Health is seeking a media monitoring platform that can crawl and ingest content from all major national, provincial, and municipal news outlets in English and French – in addition to health trade publications and journals. Platform users must be able to craft and save numerous complex Boolean or equivalent query strings with a high character range to either an unlimited or functionally unlimited number of saved searches.
Scope of Work
Media Monitoring Platform Requirements:

Crawl and ingest content from major national, provincial, municipal outlets in English and French, plus health trade publications.
Support complex Boolean searches with high character limits and unlimited saved queries.
Provide paywall-bypass PDF views of full articles, shareable with non-users.
Generate daily reports and issue-specific coverage reports with analytics (sentiment, readership, impact, origin, outlet, format).
Support at least 10 users and ingest content within 3 hours.
Include paywalled sources like The Globe and Mail, Star Media, Post Media.

Media Contact Database:

Include journalists, influencers, and outlets with coverage areas and contact info.
Enable pitching, announcements, and interaction tracking.

Social Media Monitoring Tool Requirements:

Monitor platforms including X/Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, BlueSky, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, blogs, forums.
Track mentions, sentiment, reach, engagement in real-time and historically.
Support keyword and hashtag tracking across key platforms.
Generate weekly automated reports and monthly insights on trends, risks, issues, and engagement.
