Description

The Town of Millet requires a new tandem truck with sander for maintenance or roadways within the community. This will be a key piece of equipment keeping residents and visitors safe on the road.

Additional Requirements & Information
It is mandatory that the Tandem Truck and Sander have the following:
• 2025 or newer Tandem Truck
• Automatic transmission
• Dump box with removable tailgate
• White body color
• Department of Transportation requirements (must be able to support 10 cubic yard sander with wet sand)
• New 10 cubic yard plug and play drop in sander
• Hydraulic hook ups for sander operation
• Wire harness for sander controls (plug and play operation)
• Municipal work lights (beacons, flood, directional, warning, marker)
• Heated mirrors and windows
• Climate control for operator cabin (AC and heater)
• Block heater
• Ladder for sander access
