FII-26-05 - Strategic Advisory Services

FII seeks to establish a qualified supplier list for strategic advisory services offered by vendors with mid- to senior-level experience and qualifications that demonstrate their ability to incorporate the needs and input of senior-managers and executives, industry sectors, research institutions, forest product customers, as well as government (at the provincial and federal levels). Services required may include 

• Reviewing and advising on opportunities/risks, content and technical accuracy:
• • Forest and wood product market development strategies and market research developed for existing and emerging forest products markets,
  • Domestic and offshore market opportunities, activities, negotiations or agreements that may be pursued by FII alone or in collaboration with its partners,
  • Product development opportunities to increase offshore exports of specific categories of B.C. forest fibre, species and products,
  • Forest product market access and acceptance issues and responses, including environmental and human rights,
  • Wood manufacturing and construction industry trends and business practices, and
  • FII and naturally:wood-published research and information materials.
