AB-2026-00400 - Cell 7 Phase II

The scope of work for Cell 7 Construction – Phase II Clay Liner and Leachate Collection System includes, but is not limited to, the following:
1. Rough grading to design grades for Cell 7, roads, and ditching.
2. Hauling, placing, compaction and moisture conditioning a 600 mm thick compacted clay liner.
3. Subgrade preparation of Cell 7.
4. Supply and installation of the double-sided textured HDPE geomembrane including all tie-ins to Cell 6 and anchor trenches.
5. Supply and installation of geosynthetic clay liner in leachate trenches and leachate sump.
6. Supply and installation of geocomposite over the side slopes of Cell 7, and in the leachate trenches and leachate sump.
7. Supply and installation of non-woven protection geotextile over the HDPE geomembrane in the cell base.
8. Third-party leak detection testing for the HDPE liner.
9. Supply, loading, hauling and installation of 300mm thick sand protection layer over the base of the cell.
10. Supply, loading, hauling and installation of 300mm thick drainage layer over the sand protection layer.
11. Supply and installation of non-woven separation geotextile over the drainage rock layer.
12. Supply and installation of perforated and non-perforated leachate collection pipes, including geosynthetics clay liner (GCL), bedding sand, geotextile, geocomposite, and drainage rock in leachate trenches, as shown on the drawings. 13. Rough grading of the intermediate berm, intermediate berm drainage, and leachate sump access pad. 14. Subgrade preparation of the access road and leachate sump access pad. 15. Supply, and install of culverts including rip rap, bedding sand, and geotextile as shown in the drawings. 16. Landscaping including supply and installation of topsoil layer placement and hydroseeding in ditches as shown on the drawings. 17. Dewatering as required. 18. All associated works to meet the design intent of Cell 7.
