Description

The Municipality of Crowsnest Pass (Municipality) is a community with an unparalleled natural setting located within the southwest corner of the Province of Alberta. The Municipality has a complex transportation network that is jurisdictionally bisected by Highway 3 and CPKC railway along with numerous no dead-end roadways due to topography. There is also fractured pedestrian connectivity provided between the sidewalk network and the Municipal Community Trail.

The Municipality is seeking qualified Consultants to provide professional consulting services with regards to the creation of a Transportation Master Plan (TMP). This is the first TMP for the Municipality and it will need to establish guidelines for the Municipality’s transportation network upgrades and provide strategies, actions, and priorities to implement transportation projects in the Municipality over the next 25 years and beyond.

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is for interested professional consulting firms to prepare and submit a formal response to this request in accordance with the requirements outlined within. Submitted information will be reviewed by the Municipality and evaluated to select a firm to undertake the data collection, modelling and plan development
