Description

To ensure the Province is in a constant state of preparedness regarding wildfire pre-suppression and suppression activities. Alberta Forestry and Parks, invites formal written proposals to provide two (2) trained and qualified sustained action Firetack crew, consisting of one Leader, one Sub-leader and six crew members, in accordance with the terms and condition of the attached Firetack Crew - Competitive Bid Agreement (see RFP Definitions - the “Agreement”), for a two-year term in the Fort McMurray Forest Area

The Department intends to enter into one contract for each of the two crews. The successful Vendor for each agreement shall be guaranteed a total of 93 days of work subject to the terms of the Agreement. Vendors shall demonstrate in their Proposal that they have a clear understanding of this RFP and the services required under the terms of the Firetack Crew – Competitive Bid Agreement
