Description

The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) is replacing the pier and tower for LL1471 Safety Bay, located in Kenora, Ontario. Contractor will be required to mobilize to site with a work barge of appropriate size and certification. Existing aid to navigation (ATON) to be salvaged with all appurtenances. Existing concrete foundation is to be demolished. Install one new drilled steel pier and one new ATON (ATON supplied by CCG) on pier. Install salvaged appurtenances as instructed. Demobilize. Requires project specific safety program, construction plan, environmental protection program, demolition plan and drilling plan.

Expected Start and Completion Dates

The services of the Contractor will be commencing on award of the contract. The expected completion date of this project is

December 31 st , 2016.
