3rd FLOOR PROJECT OF THE WEST WING OF THE VOLTIGEURS DE QUÉBEC ARMOURY Quebec City (Quebec)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION The work that is the subject of this Invitation to tender consists of the provision of the construction services as part of a development project on the 3rd floor of the west wing of the Voltigeurs de Québec Armory.

The work covered by this project involves the performance of all development activities, including the selective demolition of existing elements, work relative to fire suppression, plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, integrated automation, electrical work, electronic safety and security, and communications.

SITE VISIT There will be an optional site visit on December 13th, 2018 at 10:00AM. Interested bidders are to meet in front of West Wing of the Voltigeurs de Québec Armory located at 805 Wilfrid-Laurier St, Quebec City (Québec).

Safety Attire: In order to be guaranteed access to the site visit all persons should have the proper personal protection equipment (footwear and hard hats). Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site.

INTEGRITY PROVISIONS: Bidders must provide with their bid or promptly thereafter a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder. If the list of names has not been received in a procurement process by the time the evaluation of Bids is completed, the Contracting Authority will inform the Bidder of a time within which to provide the information. Providing the required names is a mandatory requirement for award of a contract. Failure to provide the list of names within the time specified will render a Bid non-responsive, and the Bidder will be disqualified for the award of a contract.

CONTRACT PERIOD

The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within eighteen (18) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.

Bidders should take note that attachment contains the full set of drawings and specifications, which consist of PDF files organized in an industry-standard directory structure. Addenda, when issued, will be available from the same site. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid.

BID RECEIVING Sealed tenders will be received in English or French at the bid receiving address identified on the first page of the Request for Proposal document.
