INVITATION TO SUBMIT A RESPONSE FOR A REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) IN THE CITY OF DRUMMONDVILLE, QUEBEC

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is asking interested parties to submit a response for a potential lease of office space that meets the following criteria:
Section A: Lease Components
a lease term of ten (10) years, commencing on or about September 1, 2014;
an amount of space between approximately 1,006 usable square metres, and 1,072 usable square metres of contiguous office space;
the proposed space must be available at least sixteen (16) weeks prior to the above-noted lease commencement date so all space(s) may be prepared for occupancy;
the proposed space must satisfy or be capable of satisfying the following mandatory criteria:
1.
an availability of seventeen (17) parking spaces for the use of the occupant and its clients (private parking on the land or on surrounding lands, or public parking on the street or on public land, that are no farther than 100 metres from the building); 2.
proposed buildings must be located no more than 500 metres of walking distance from a public transit stop; 3.
the leased premises shall be located in a block of space, without impediment, on one (1) floor preferably on the ground floor or on two (2) contiguous floors. If the leased premises are located on two (2) contiguous floors, a minimum of 634 usable square metres shall be located preferably on ground floor; 4.
if the competition allows it - minimum of three (3) proposed sites where the space is located on the ground floor - only those proposed sites could be considered if they meet all of the requirements of this Request for Qualification; 5.
proposed buildings and leased premises must have good visibility; 6.
proposed buildings must have a window arrangement and a configuration of the premises acceptable to the lessee; 7.
the proposed space must be within an office or commercial building; industrial type buildings or those including residential space will not be considered; 8.
buildings located in agricultural, residential, industrial or flood zones will not be considered.
the proposed space must be located in the city of Drummondville and within the following boundaries (the geographical boundaries include sites on either side of the roads):
North:
Highway 20 South: Belle Rive Street, Brouillette Street, Comeau Street, and its continuation up to Highway 55 East: West side of St-François River West: Highway 55
the proposed space must, on or before the lease commencement date, comply with all requirements contained in PWGSC’s Standards for Leased Accommodation, a copy of which may be obtained from the contact listed in Section F;
PWGSC may wish to visit or inspect the proposed space upon reasonable notice;
a threat and risk assessment may be required in order to assess potential threats to the security of the proposed space and to the public.

Responses are required by June 6, 2013, before 2:00 p.m. Any responses received after this time and date will not be considered.
Section D: Informatiobles
• L’expertise en matière de virtualisation en lien avec l’architecture, la configuration et la mise en œuvre de besoins se rattachant à des projets et à des initiatives ainsi qu’à la mise à niveau de systèmes;
• De la documentation détaillée sur la configuration de l’architecture, du réseau et d’environnements de stockage virtualisés;
• Des rapports sur la performance des systèmes pour ce qui est des serveurs virtuels E/S et de chaque partition logique des machines virtualisées par suite de la mise en œuvre d’applications, ainsi que des rapports historiques sur la performance des systèmes alors que l’application et les systèmes évoluent;
• Des conseils et de l’aide technique en lien avec l’acquisition de logiciels, de mises à niveau ou de matériel informatique;
• Un résumé hebdomadaire des activités;
• Un compte rendu de projet ou un rapport sur les tâches sur une base hebdomadaire;
• La participation à des évaluations de la vulnérabilité et l’intervention lorsqu’un risque est repéré;
• La participation aux arrêts des opérations aux fins de la maintenance des centres de données;
• Des plans sur l’évolution de l’architecture aux fins d’harmonisation avec la stratégie de modernisation des TI de l’OPIC et de consolidation des centres de données.
LIEU DE TRAVAIL
L’entrepreneur effectuera le travail dans les locaux d’Industrie Canada, situés au 235, rueQueen, à Ottawa (Ontario).
