The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Winnipeg, Manitoba has a requirement for the supply and delivery of one (1) SmartMsg Notification System (SMS). The SmartMsg Notification System (SMS) must be delivered on or before 30 March 2015.

This requirement is a voluntary Aboriginal Set Aside and is Canadian Content applicable.

Offerors must submit a list of names, or other related information as needed, pursuant to section 01 of Standard Instructions 2003.

Complete requirements are detailed in the Request for Proposal document, Annex A - Requirement.

This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number M5000-145740/A dated 2014-10-07 with a closing of 2014-10-23 at 2:00PM Central Standard Time (CST). A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders who bid on the previous solicitation.

No Substitute Justification The SmartMsg Notification System (SMS) is the only product meeting project needs for integrating multiple operational police systems.

It is the only product that can integrate with existing operational police systems (Manitoba Division Radio system - Motorola P25, National CIIDS system, current and future telephone systems, and various forms of mediummessaging - text, facebook, twitter, etc.) and follows established Regina "F" Division SmartMessage standard.
