The Department of National Defence (DND) is consolidating employee workspaces in the National Capital Region. It is moving a large number of employees from over 40 locations across the region to the new DND Headquarters located at Nortels former Carling Campus. This movement of employees has created a need for appliances (mainly fridges and fridge/freezer combination units) in the newly opened sections of the campus in order for employees to keep their food and related food products cold.
