SOIL REMEDIATION EDMONTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (EIA), EDMONTON, ALBERTA AIR OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE CENTRE (AOMC) PROJECT NUMBER: R.056019.003

1.

REQUIREMENT: Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf of Transport Canada , has a requirement for the supply of all labour, equipment and material to provide site remediation activities at the Edmonton International Airport (EIA), Edmonton, Alberta. The activities consist of the remediation of hydrocarbon contaminated soil resulting from a underground storage tank (UST) leak at the

Air Operations Maintenance Centre (AOMC) building. Contamination has been identified adjacent to the AOMC. Approximately 6000 m3 of soil will be excavated and removed from the site to a nearby land treatment unit.

SITE VISIT (OPTIONAL):

An optional site is scheduled for Potential

Bidders or a representative of the Bidder and will be held on July 23, 2012 at 09:00 A.M. (M.D.T.) at the Edmonton International Airport.

Potential Bidders or their Representatives attending the Optional Site Visit are to report to to the following location: Air Operations Maintenance Centre (AOMC) building located at the Edmonton International Airport (EIA), 5287- 36 Street (Service Road)

by 08:45 A.M. (M.D.T.).

Note: Potential

Bidders or a representative of the Bidder can park at the north end of the fenced area. NO PARKING IS ALLOWED ALONG THE PUBLIC ROADWAY.

Potential bidders or their representative will be responsible for making their own way to the site. All travel & living costs associated with travel to the site for the purpose of attending the Optional Site Visit will be borne by the Bidder or their representative.

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 02:00 P.M. M.D.T., July 19, 2012, before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name of the person who will attend.

This is not a

Mandatory Site Visit

and those who do not attend are not precluded from submitting a bid. However, potential bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. It should be noted that potential bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment.

Bidders will be required to sign an attendance form and provide their own required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Hard Hat, Safety Boots, Safety Glasses & Safety Vest).

3. TRADE AGREEMENTS: The proposed requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).

CODE OF CONDUCT AND CERTIFICATION:

Under the Code of Conduct and Certification provisions, (R2710T, 2012-07-16), Bidders must submit the following as part of their bid:

a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder;

a properly completed and signed Consent Form, for each individual named in the aforementioned list.
