Description

NPP – English Title: Embassy of Canada Cleaning Services Santiago, Chile 1. Requirement The purpose of this RFP is to select a supplier to enter into a contract with the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development to provide commercial cleaning services at the Embassy of Canada in Santiago, Chile (hereinafter referred to as “the Embassy” or “the Mission”). The contractor will provide a range of cleaning services including supply of all personnel, materials, labour, supervision, tools, equipment, and other items related to the services as described in the Statement of Work, and is exempt only from those items that are specifically noted. 2. Proposed Period of Contract The period of the initial contract will be for two (2) years with three (3) irrevocable option periods of one (1) year each. Up to one (1) contract will be awarded for this requirement. The contract award date is tentatively set for April 1. 2014. 3. Mandatory Site Visit It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a tour of the work site. The site visit will be held at the Embassy of Canada in Santiago, Chile at Edificio World Trade Center, Nueva Tajamar 481, Torre Norte, Piso 12, Comuna Las Condes on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at 9:30 AM local time in Santiago Chile. 4. Mandatory Technical Criteria M1 Experience of the Bidder The Bidder must possess three (3) years of janitorial services experience within the last eight (8) years from the bid closing date, on projects of similar size and scope to the requiremenes professionnels centralisés no 2 s’applique.
