One (1) Level 2, P.11 Quality Assurance Specialist/Analyst

However, should an uninvited SA Holder wish to be invited, it may contact the Contracting Authority in writing to request an invitation at any time prior to five days before the published bid closing date, and an invitation will be made to that SA Holder.
To ensure efficient operation of the procurement system, the Contracting Authority will invite no more than the first 15 SA Holders that request an invitation.
In no circumstance will such an invitation require Canada to extend a bid closing date.
Description of Work:
Objective and Scope
CNSC requires the full time professional services of one (1 )
Level 2 Quality Assurance Specialist/Analyst (QA) . The QA Specialist/Analyst will reports to the CNSC QA Analyst , and will be accountable for developing test plans, test cases and test reports for CNSC applications. This includes applying verification and validation theories and principles to the quality control of assigned areas of software functionality.

Tasks
The QA Specialist/Analyst’s tasks include but are not limited to the following
Reviewing project documentation to assess project needs from a testing perspective
Developing Test Plans
Preparing test scenarios, test cases and test data
Estimating test effort
Executing test scenarios and test cases
Assembling test documentation
Analyzing test results
Working with the developers to determine cause of failure
Performing different types of testing as defined in the System Development Life Cycle (e.g. functional and regression)
Logging, investigating and monitoring defects.
Providing status updates to Senior QA Analyst regarding progress made
Assisting end-users to develop User acceptance test plan and test cases.
