As CyberNB move's into it's next stage of development, we will be issuing RFP's and SOW's for collaborative project work, this coupled with our continued high profile means that the potential for a breach / cyberattack will increase significantly.
Therefore to reduce the risk we have reviewed our procurement approach and supply chain management from a cybersecurity perspective. We have decided to demonstrate professional due diligence and due care approach. Any issued RFP / SOW from CyberNB will include a requirement that partners/vendors will need to have Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+) certification.
Initially we will be asking for a commitment to complete the certification within 12 weeks of any contract being awarded. This requirement will start to firm up to become a prerequisite for bidding for work by the end of the calendar year 2019.
