RFPQ #15-05 - Government of Alberta Photography Services

The intent of this RFPQ is to create a Standing Offer List of Pre-qualified Vendors under contract who can provide photography services to support the Government of Alberta’s (GoA) visual communications efforts. Pre-qualified Vendors will be expected to create and produce items such as:

- Original photographic images: portraiture (Group, Individual, Official); event documentation; still life; Alberta scenic shots
- Onsite art direction of photo shoots
- Facilitation and signing of all model/participant release forms
- Production of final photography in the required format – digital or print;
- Attendance at, and documentation of, special events throughout the province;
- Digital filing and processing;
- Potential provision of online gallery; and
- Potential provision of studio space.

This is a non-exclusive opportunity as the Province may contract with more than one Pre-qualified Vendor for the provision of these Services. In addition to the Public Affairs Bureau, each GoA Department, has the option, on an as required basis, to select from the successful Pre-qualified Vendors, which Pre-qualified Vendor(s) they wish to provide a particular service. The successful Vendor(s) will sign a Master Agreement in the form attached to this RFPQ and when the Department requires a Vendor to perform specific services, a Request for Photography Services (RFPF) will be completed by the Department and Pre-qualified Vendor.

Vendors are invited to submit Proposals for the provision of the Services and Materials in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions set out in this RFPQ.

This RFPQ will be conducted with the objective of maximizing the benefit to the Province, while offering Vendors a fair and equitable opportunity to participate. All Proposals that receive a minimum score of 80% of the total available points for all evaluation categories (and which otherwise meet all mandatory requirements of this RFPQ) will qualify for placement on the Standing Offer List.
