Description

Prorate Services, a unit under Driver Programs and Licensing Standards at Alberta Transportation, is tasked with charging and disbursing prorated vehicle registration fees for Alberta carriers travelling in multiple jurisdictions.
In an effort to stay in compliance with the IRP and take advantage of advancements in technology, the Province is seeking a Proponent to supply and support a Solution. The Solution must be licensed Commercial Software and may contain Configuration and/or Customization only as absolutely required to meet the requirements and desirable provisions detailed in this RFP. The Province requires a Hosted model in which the Proponent must Host the Solution within the Proponent’s own environment, with all Hosting environments residing in Canada. The selected Solution, including Hosting model will undergo a comprehensive Security Threat and Risk Assessment (STRA) and a Statement of Sensitivity (SoS) based on data classifications as described in section 3.2.11 of this RFP.
The term of the Contract will be two (2) years, with the Province having the option to extend the Contract, up to an additional eight (8) years, on the same terms and conditions, including pricing.
