Description

The MD operates a wastewater treatment lagoon in Exshaw, Alberta.

In May of 2017, the MD of Bighorn excavated approximately 1,200 cubic meters of sludge saturated bedding from the exfiltration cell.

The sludge material is temporarily stockpiled within an excavation a top of the adjacent hillside.

The MD is inviting Proposals for the removal and disposal of the sludge material at an approved facility.
