Replacement of the Cooling Tower No. 2 Dorval, Quebec

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) for Transport Canada requires construction services for the Baltimore Aircoil brand TR-2 cooling water tower (model VXTN215, serial number 8506380) installed in 1985 has a capacity of 257 nominal tons, theoretically cooling the new Smardt chiller. It is a blow thru type tower which cools the hot water of the condenser by two centrifugal fans installed on a low side of the tower which induces a vertical blast upwards. The water tower has reached its 25 year service life and will need to be replaced.

The works will take place at 700, Leigh-Capreol Place at Dorval.
