Description

Objective
The following Request for Proposals (RFP) is issued by the Municipal District of Provost No. 52 to determine interested companies (Respondents) that are suitably qualified and experienced to provide Construction Services in the development of a proposed Provost Medical Clinic (Project).

The Municipal District of Provost No. 52 is under no obligation to move forward on this initiative or engage with any of the Respondents. This RFP process creates no contract or agreement between the Municipal District of Provost No. 52 and any Respondents.

The Project
The Project is comprised of the following components:
• Construction of a 72x72 medical clinic complete with two asphalt paved parking lots located at 5016 46 Street Provost, Alberta. The qualified contractor shall also provide a full scope of services inclusive of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and landscaping services.

This project has a $3.6M budget for all construction. Construction firms with relevant experience are encouraged to submit proposals. Contract used will be a Cost-Plus contract.

The qualified proponent shall be responsible for the following:
• Obtaining all permits and approvals necessary for the construction of the Project;
• Provision of utilities and other site services required to support the Project, including off-site works as required to connect to the Town of Provost infrastructure; and
• Anticipated Completion of the Project by Fall 2020.
