OVERVIEW - SCOPE OF WORK:
The Moncton Fire Department's existing SCBA air refill station does not have sufficient capacity for refilling 5500psi cylinders, and must be replaced. The City of Moncton is seeking quotes for the purchase of One (1) Only New Air Refill Station for use with the Moncton Fire Department's current inventory of SCBA Cylinders, which are comprised of Scott X3 units, and a limited number of Scott AP75 SCBA's. Therefore, THE SCBA AIR REFILL STATION PROPOSED HEREIN MUST BE FULLY COMPATIBLE WITH THE
SCOTT X3 AND AP75 SCBA SYSTEM FITTINGS AND REFILL RATES.
SCOTT SAFETY REVOLVE AIR? FILL STATION INCLUDING SMART FILL? AUTO-CASCADE (PART# AF2110222A001) MUST BE SPECIFIED TO MATCH EXISTING UNIT.
Installation must also include replacing existing 6,000 psi rated hose with 7,000 psi rated hose and elbows on six existing cascade cylinders and installation of Revolve Air? Fill Station and Smart Fill? Auto Cascade to existing Jordair Compressor (Model# Air-Kat6 1214-1E). All hose and elbows must use 1/4" JIC fittings.
The successful Bidder shall be responsible for providing all required labour, materials, equipment, tools, software, hardware, etc. required for the Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of One (1) Only New Air Refill Station for SCBA cylinders, in accordance with the technical specifications detailed herein.
