Description

The Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) has issued a Request for Bid (RFB) on behalf of Region of Peel, to select a qualified contractor to undertake ventilation upgrades at various reservoir houses to reduce corrosive chlorine in the atmosphere. Ventilation will be improved by introducing blowers, new louvres, aluminum encloses around access hatches and chlorine gas pathway isolation. The project also entails replacement or refurbishment of specified corroded assets. Drawings and specifications have been developed by MTE Consultants Inc. for the upgrades at each reservoir house.

Mandatory Tour of Facilities:

A mandatory Site Tour will be held on May 7, 2020 beginning at 9:00 AM by virtual tour. PPE will not be required as contractors will be calling in via video conference. Details on the mandatory virtual site tour will be provided via addendum.
All Bidders wishing to attend the mandatory site tour must confirm with the RFB contact person (Rashmi Vatish at procurement@ocwa.com) and Kokul Keshavan at kkeshavan2@ocwa.com via an email by May 6, 2020 at 3:00 pm Toronto Time.

The Bidders are required to download the document(s) from www.ontariotenders.jaggaer.com and send any questions via email to Kokul Keshavan at kkeshavan2@ocwa.com and Rashmi Vatish at procurement@ocwa.com before May 18, 2020, at 3:00:00 pm Toronto Time.

The completed Bid submission must be submitted as requested on or before: May 27, 2020 at 3:00:00 pm, Toronto Time. At this time, it is asked that all Bid submission are done electronically.
