Description

Notice is hereby given that BC Hydro will be inviting tenders on the purchase of the equipment listed below:

· Four (4) Scrap 1975 Federal Pioneer Single Phase Transformers located at BC Hydro Mica
Generating Station located 148 kms North of Revelstoke. Transformer bushings will not be
included in the sale.

Approximate weights for each Transformer:
· Core and Coils - 185,000 lbs
· Tank and fittings - 54,000 lbs
· <2ppm PCB · 1 lot miscellaneous clean scrap metal consisting primarily of ancillary parts from electrical station equipment.

Mandatory Viewing:

· Mandatory viewing to take place on June 17, 2020. Request for Tender document packages will be provided to contractors at the viewing.
· Bidders must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during viewing. PPE includes hard hat, safety footwear, high visibility vest and safety glasses.

Location:

· Mica Creek Generating Station (148 kms North of Revelstoke) on Highway 23 North.
Starting from Revelstoke travel east 0.6 km on Highway 1, turn left onto Highway 23
North. Travel north to blue bridge, 5 km past Mica Townsite and turn left onto bridge.
Travel 2km to locked entrance and use intercom to enter. GPS coordinates: N 54:04:32.7,
W 118:34:14.5, 790 m.
