Divestiture of Cumberland Central Landfill Assets

The Municipalities of the County of Cumberland (MCC), the Town of Amherst and the Town of Oxford (collectively referred to as the “County”) invite proposals (RFP) from qualified and experienced Respondents to: 1. Acquire ownership of certain County owned and operated land and solid waste management facilities located in Little Forks, N.S. (the “Facility”); and 2. Develop, permit, construct, operate, monitor, report to authorities on, maintain, expand, close and conduct post-closure activities for the Facility in accordance with local, provincial and federal laws, regulations and permits as may be required.
