20-1593 - 20-1593 Pine Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant – Upgrades Phase 1

This RFP is open to pre-qualified firms only. Proponents are invited who have been pre-qualified based on specific information previously submitted through The City’s Prequalification for Engineering and Architectural Consultants RFPQ 06-006. Proposals will only be considered from proponents that have achieved a pre-qualified status in the following discipline(s):
Wastewater Treatment Plants

The City requires engineering consulting services for the Pine Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (PCWWTP) Upgrades – Phase 1 as outlined in this RFP. The project involves two (2) main tasks:1.De-bottlenecking of the existing treatment process
2.Waste Activated Sludge (WAS) thickening upgrade

The project anticipates the following stages for two tasks listed above: conceptual design, preliminary design, equipment pre-selection/pre-purchase, detailed design, services during procurement period, construction services, commissioning, and post construction services.
Pending to detailed design and budget approval, two (2) separate construction packages may be issued to engage qualified contractors to execute the work.

Any Agreement resulting from this opportunity will have a duration lasting until project completion.

This procurement process is not intended to create and will not create a formal legally binding bidding process and will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
