Notice is hereby given that Northern Health Authority (the "Health Authority(s)"), through their collective agent Provincial Health Services Authority ("PHSA"), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide Pexip Collaboration Platform - Annual Renewal of Licenses and hosted at the University of Northern British Columbia (UHNBC) for a term of August 1, 2020 thru July 31, 2021 at an estimated value of $96,941.88 CAD.

In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, as agent for the Northern Health Authority has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following:

· the goods or services can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reason:
(a) to ensure compatibility with existing products/systems

Rationale
Northern Health Authority is currently using Pexip Collaboration Platform. This product provides Health Authority wide services video conferencing functionality between existing collaboration tools (Skype/Link, Teams, provincial VC, physical systems) and utilizing WebRTC allows connectivity between all participants (Patients, Clinicians, NH-Users) from any Internet enabled endpoint. This is for the Annual Renewal of Licenses and Support. There is no other vendor to provide the software and support for this application. Genesis is the only reseller in Canada for Pexip.

Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of Diane Lindsay by email before 2:00pm Pacific Time, August 7, 2020. PHSA will review any and all issues received by this date and provide due consideration to each objection.
