Description

The District of Chetwynd is located in the foothills of the eastern slope of the Rocky Mountains in northeastern British Columbia, located at the junction of Highway 97 and 29 and the CN Rail mainline. The District has a population of about 3100 and covers an area of approximately 64km². Chetwynd is surrounded by forested hills and three creeks run south through the District.

The District of Chetwynd seeks to acquire digital aerial photography, digital orthophotography, Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and contours of the area defined in the attached figure titled “Aerial Extents”.
