01 INVITATION TO TENDER
.1 Sealed tenders will be received by Stantec Architecture until 3:00 p.m., September 3, 2020 at 1199 Main Street, Moncton New Brunswick, E1C 1H9 for the following project:

.2 Plans, Specifications, Tender Documents and other information, must be obtained from Stantec Architecture Ltd., 1199 Main Street, Moncton, New Brunswick, E1C 1H9. Electronic documents (PDF Format) will only be distributed via FTP site upon contractors' requests by contacting Rob Bateman at 383-8500 x 2222 or by email at rob.bateman@stantec.com .
.3 Site access for the purpose of reviewing existing conditions is restricted. Access to site must be coordinated with Bill Goobie at (506) 857-5605. Site visit will be conducted for all contractors on August 25, 2020 at the glass doors adjacent shipping and receiving (off West Lane). NOTE: prior to the site visit, all persons planning on attending, must fill out and email the attached document: COVID-19 ACCESS PREVENTATIVE MEASURES to tim.geldart@horizonnb.ca .
.4 Tender Documents will be available for viewing at the Moncton Northeast Construction Association.
.5 General Contractor's Tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Cheque in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the tendered quotation.
.6 Tenders submitted in response to this invitation to tender shall be dealt with in accordance with the following terms and conditions, which are supplemental to and not in substitution for the tendering procedures contained in Regulation 82-109:
.1 The Owner will not necessarily accept any tender for award of the Contract.
.2 In making the decision to award the Contract pursuant to this invitation to tender the Owner will take into account:
.1 The history of work performance of each tenderer on similar or different types of work in prior Contracts with the Owner.
.2 The tenderer's qualifications to perform the Work, the quality of the tenderer's past work, the tenderer's financial capability to do the Work and the competence of the tenderer.
.7 The requirements of the Crown Construction Contracts Act apply.
