RFP-GSF-2020-0001 - Organization and Capacity Review

Grande Spirit Foundation (GSF) provides housing for seniors and families in the South Peace Regional area of Alberta. Over the years, the foundation has experienced growth through the addition of seniors’ apartments and lodges, resulting in increased staffing and a need for capacity.

GSF manages over 1100 units providing accommodations for over 1500 people. To support this, the foundation has over 100 staff (FTE, part time and casuals), consisting of various managers, supervisors and staff that provide front line services such as cook’s, cook’s helpers, dining room aides, housekeeping, maintenance and casual support. Our staff work together closely within a unionized environment and are proud of their health and safety program. The organizations board of directors sees continued growth of our units and this service industry and therefore a review of our current organizational structure and current capacity that considers today, and future operations is required.
