Description

The Pathology Department is requesting an automated IHC Platform. IHC has been the industry standard in pathology for approximately thirty (30) years, and is required for the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of patients. SAH currently outsources its immunohistochemistry staining. Unstained slides are referred to a large teaching hospital for staining. The stained slides are subsequently interpreted by SAH pathologists. It is hoped that the repatriation of immunohistochemistry staining will improve process efficiency, decrease TAT for pathology reports, improve patient care and reduce overall operating costs.
