Description

SaskPower is preparing to initiate a competitive solicitation for General Contracting Services to complete the second phase of its Logistics Warehouse Complex located at Regina’s Global Transportation Hub. The competition is planned to start with a Request for Supplier Qualifications (RFSQ) phase to qualify respondents to participate in a subsequent closed Request for Proposal (RFP) process.

SaskPower is targeting the competition to open with RFSQ issuance in the third quarter (Q3) of 2023. Proponents will be evaluated and those that satisfy all requirements will be included in the closed RFP set to be issued in the last quarter (Q4) of 2023.

There is no action required in response to this communication. This communication is intended to provide proponents some lead time before the competition opens to prepare and put together a proposal team.

This notice is provided to share certain details that reflect SaskPower’s present intentions related to this project. As the procurement documents and related strategy are not yet final, SaskPower reserves the right to alter and / or adjust any information herein. For further details, interested parties are to refer to the published RFSQ & RFP documents upon public posting which should be available through SaskPower’s unique Merx.com portal as well as on Sasktenders.com.
