BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The scope of work generally consists of civil and utility works and the construction of a forty-seven (47) unit four-story wood frame building on a single level of underground parking accessed by a ramp off Kokanee Avenue.
The building includes:
- Thirty-six (36) one-bedroom units sized for mobility impairment or for two-person occupancy;
- Six (6) two-bedroom units for two-person households where one person may be ill or disabled; and
- Five (5) studio units to house adults with physical and/or mental health disabilities at risk of homelessness.
- Scooter parking and bicycle storage is also included in the project basement.
- Landscaping for the property
- Please note Site Demolition and Hazardous abatement contract has been awarded and is currently in progress.
The building will have features for residents, including an amenity room with kitchen; common laundry facilities, sun-room lounges, and a terrace in the rear of the building to provide an outdoor amenity space for residents.
