PAD Field Station is a Parks Canada Agency development within the Wood Buffalo National Park near Fort Chipewyan, AB. Fort Chipewyan is accessable by ice road, water and air only. The PAD Field Station site is approximately 10 km from Fort Chipewyan with water access only during non-winter conditions. This opportunity is for the installation of approximately 300 screw piles, pile caps and washroom compost tanks c/w structural supports. The screw piles have been engineered, procured and delivered to the PAD Field Station site via ice road during the 2022/23 winter season (note: piles for washrooms are under design at time of tender, +/- 18 piles that will be FOB Fort Chipewyan). The pile caps will be available for pick up in Fort Chipewyan. All other materials not specifically listed as supplied by Owner are to proponents account. Proponents are required to include all logistics, plant, equipment and resources to complete the installation per design. All safety and environmental requirements must be included by Proponents. Screw piles and treated lumber for the project are currently on site. Materials may need to be relocated by Proponents in order to proceed with the work (lifts of lumber and or bundles of screw piles), Proponents are to allow for relocation of materials as required to proceed with work on Site.
