45-854-CTP - Geothermal Energy Solutions as a Service

This project aims to deliver Geothermal energy solutions as a Service (GaaS). Generally, and described in more detail below, the proponent shall design, supply, install, maintain, operate and finance a geothermal system (primarily underground geothermal wells/bores and the interconnecting piping connected to the building system) and all related components for a fixed term (either 25 or 30 years). Seneca will not pay any upfront cost for the GaaS but will pay regular payments to the successful proponent for the term of the agreement. The RFP includes two (2) options. • Option 1: GaaS with the demarcation point of the piping connection to the Water Source Heat Pump, as outlined in the schematic provided. • Option 2: includes more building mechanical systems, and the demarcation point is the piping connections to the chilled and hot water supply piping.
