SFU is seeking a Technical Solution to Manage the Medical School Admissions Process including applicant personal information, supporting documentation (e.g. post-secondary transcripts, MCAT, etc.), calculate Grade Point Average (GPA), multi-directional communication, interview scheduling module for in-person interviews (with infrastructure in place to evolve to virtual interviews), entrance committee scoring and reviews, entrance offers, and entrants’ checklist and documents.
The term of the agreement is to be for a period of 1 year, with an option in favour of SFU to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to 2 years.
The Medical School Admissions Management System is required to be fully-functional (ready to accept the initial cohort applications) by September 30, 2025.
SFU’s needs are evolving and we anticipate working with the awarded or other vendor for a longer-term, customized solution.
It’s anticipated a minimum of 3000 students will apply annually.
Budget is $450,000 CAD +tax, including all costs (e.g., development, commissioning, hardware, licenses, and support for the initial year of operation (October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026)).
