Canada’s Drug Agency (CDA-AMC) is an independent, not-for-profit, pan-Canadian health organization, created and funded by Canada’s federal, provincial, and territorial governments.
CDA-AMC provides Canada’s health system leaders with independent evidence and advice so they can make informed drug, health technology, and health system decisions, and CDA-AMC collaborates with national and international partners to enhance our collective impact.
CDA-AMC is seeking a proposal from audit firms to execute a year-end financial audit on an annual basis. The Board of Directors has requested that the organization carry out an RFP at a minimum, every 5 years for this service. If the external auditor is an audit firm, the audit partner must be rotated every 10 years, and the audit firm must be rotated every 15 years.
The scope of the services requested includes the following:
a) Provision of English and French audited financial statements.
b) Preparation of the annual tax return.
Additional services may be requested and should be part of a separate billable rate and include the following:
a) Other tax support as required.
b) Support to the Finance & Audit Committee in their work. This Committee is expected to meet 4 to 5 times a year.
