The Bereavement Authority of Ontario (BAO) is seeking a qualified strategy consultant to develop a comprehensive three-year IT Strategic Plan and Roadmap that will build upon the foundation established by the BAO's initial Phase 1 IT Roadmap1. This IT strategy will align with and support the organization's broader Strategic Plan, ensuring that the BAO’s technology infrastructure, security, and capabilities are enhanced to meet the evolving needs of the organization and the bereavement sector.
The successful vendor will lead the development of an IT Strategic Plan that addresses and prioritizes key challenges, including technological advancements, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The scope of work includes conducting a situational analysis, defining strategic IT goals, identifying risks, and proposing actionable steps for improving BAO’s IT infrastructure and processes.
The selected consultant will work closely with BAO’s Executive Team and key stakeholders to ensure the strategy is aligned with the organization’s mission, vision, and regulatory responsibilities. The IT strategy will provide a roadmap for future technology investments, support digital transformation efforts, and enhance service delivery across the organization.
