Description

Proposed works within the contract scope are divided into Part 1 – Municipality of Mississippi Mills:
County Road 29 Watermain extension and Part 2 – County of Lanark: Almonte Street Intersection
Rehab. Proposed works under Part 1 include watermain removal and installation, service replacements,
earthworks and grading, and road reinstatement along County Road 29, Almonte Street, and within
Gemmill Park. Additional works include the installation of two (2) pressure reducing valves (PRV’s)
on Euphemia Street.
Proposed works under Part 2 include the rehabilitation of the Almonte Street intersection, including
the removal and reinstatement of roadway surfaces, curbs and sidewalks, signage, and pavement
markings, as well as the new construction of traffic signal infrastructure.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held virtually by the Municipality of Mississippi Mills on
Friday February 27, 2026 from 10:00am to 11:00am local time.

During this meeting the Municipality will present the Tender and provide a detailed overview of
all components, including any unique or project-specific requirements. While attendance is not
mandatory, proponents are strongly encouraged to participate.
