CRC 25-12 - Creative Agencies

The Canadian Red Cross (“CRC”) is soliciting information from industry so that it may select a service provider for campaign creative development and deployment .  CRC is looking at putting in place a three-year term  agreement with the possibility for two one-year extensions with the selected vendor.

The CRC employes a multi-channel approach in its Legacy and Stewardship programs to effectively generate Legacy/Planned Giving leads and steward CRC’s donors.  These programs are vital to long term revenue generation and donor file sustainability.  The CRC employes a data and donor insights approach to strategy development and in its campaign execution.    
CRC is seeking a vendor to provide creative development and deployment services in support of its Planned Giving and Stewardship programs. 

Services required include the following:

• Strategy support
• Creative development
• Complex data segmentation,
• Print and digital asset production
• Letter-shopping, and
• Mail deployment.

• Two Planned Giving lead generation campaigns a year including the creative development, production, and delivery of the mail packs, and the development of content and copy of two supplementary emails.
• Two Planned Giving stewardship campaigns a year, including the creative development, production, and delivery of the mail packs, and the development of content and copy of a supplementary email.

• Creative development, production, and delivery of mail components of emergency appeal donor stewardship campaigns.
• Ad-hoc strategy support in development of messaging and campaign materials for emergency appeal donor stewardship

• Experience in creating creative concepts and strategies for direct marketing fundraising campaigns;
• Experience developing and delivering assets for multi-channel campaigns, including mail, email, and digital channels;
• Ability to manage print production, lettershop, and deployment through mail for mail required components;
• Experience in launching ad hoc humanitarian emergency campaigns by mail;
• Experience in managing and delivering campaigns containing multi-level variables and complex data segmentation;
• Experience and capacity delivering campaigns in multi-languages, at minimum, English and French;
• Is a Canada based company and works with print production partners in Canada.

1. Ability to provide creative and strategic support on an ad-hoc basis outside of full campaign development and delivery projects.
2. Ability to coordinate and integrate with other internal CRC teams and external vendors for work may be necessary to support CRC’s Stewardship and Planned Giving program.
3. Ability to provide data strategy and programming support to manipulate and append data provided as part of a campaign delivery requiring more complex variable or ask calculations.
4. Experience in creatively adapting or leverage existing campaigns for new audiences or different channel use.
