OBJECTIVE
The Canadian Red Cross (“CRC”) is soliciting information from industry so that it may select an additional service provider(s) for face-to-face fundraising services (“F2F”). CRC is looking at putting in place a three-year term agreement (with the possibility for two one-year extensions) with the selected vendor(s).
The objective of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to locate vendor (s) that will provide the best overall value to CRC. While price is a significant factor, other criteria will form the basis of the award decision, as more fully described in the Evaluation Criteria, below.
As set out in more detail below, this RFP seeks the following information:
- Respondent capabilities.
- Cost information for services and cost containment/reduction strategies.
- Ideas and suggestions to optimize the customer service experience.
- Identification of key performance indicators (“KPI”) and Service Level Agreements (“SLA”) that will allow CRC staff to evaluate the short- and long-term return on investment (“ROI”) on its F2F program.
Mandatory Requirements
To be considered for this RFP, Bidders must fully comply with
all mandatory requirements outlined in the RFP and the Bidder Response Template; non-compliant submissions will not be evaluated further.
The mandatory requirements are as follows:
- Experience delivering face-to-face (F2F) fundraising services to solicit monthly donations for charities
- Capacity to deliver door-to-door services as part of the overall F2F program
- Experience in and knowledge of fundraising and monthly giving specifically in the Canadian context
- Ability to provide bilingual (English/French) services as needed, ensuring that Fundraisers operating in Quebec are proficient in the French language
